The idea of the app is also to highlight the fountains in a network of 1,650 that supply drinking water. It enables users to obtain the approximate geolocation of the nearest ones and also indicates the best way to get there.
Fonts Bcn is designed for the general public but also has some specific groups in mind. For example, people out practising sport who want to find a water supply point. And tourists will be able to use it to get information about fountains with special features, such as Canaletes or the Wallace Fountain.
